Fashion E-commerce

Online Store for Clothing & Fashion

A fashion online store is more than a photo catalog. It needs the right size and color filters, a fitting experience, and a clear returns process. We build with fashion e-commerce specifics in mind.

What's included

Size & color filters

Easy search by size (XS–XXL or numeric), color, material, season and brand. Shoppers find what they need without scrolling endlessly.

Fashion product card

Multiple angles, model video, zoom, size guide, reviews with customer photos — everything needed to buy without trying on.

Returns management

Self-service return process: request through account, QR code for drop-off, status tracking — handled without customer service calls.

Wishlist

Shoppers save items they like — this increases return visits and conversion to purchase on a follow-up session.

Fashion e-commerce specifics

Fashion e-commerce has its own requirements. The most important is the product card: the shopper needs to understand the fit and fabric quality without being able to touch the garment. This means professional photos showing details, a video on a model, a size guide with real measurements, and honest reviews with customer photos.

The second key challenge is filtering. A shopper wants to find "red dress size 10 under $100" in 2–3 clicks, not scroll through 200 items. This is why for larger clothing stores we recommend WordPress/WooCommerce with advanced filtering rather than builders.

SEO for a clothing store

Category pages should target purchase-intent queries: "buy red dress online", "women's jeans size 10" and similar. Every product has a unique description with relevant keywords. Schema.org Product markup helps search engines show price and availability directly in search results.

FAQ

A small clothing store on a builder (catalog up to 200–300 items, basic filters) — from $600–900. A full-featured WordPress/WooCommerce store with advanced size and color filters, customer accounts and inventory integration — from $1,500–2,500. For larger brands with unique design logic — from $3,500.

At the product card level we add a Size attribute with variations (XS, S, M, L, XL or numeric). The shopper selects a size, sees stock availability for that variant, and adds the specific variant to the cart. The size guide opens in a popup directly on the product card. For stock sync by size we connect inventory management systems.

We build a returns module: the customer creates a return request in their account, selects the product and reason, receives a return label or QR code for drop-off at a carrier location. Return status is tracked in the customer account. You receive a notification, process the return and trigger the refund from your dashboard.

No — we build responsive design that works correctly on all screen sizes from smartphone to desktop. For fashion stores mobile is especially important: over 70% of shoppers browse clothing on their phone. We pay particular attention to the photo gallery and checkout flow on mobile.

Main channels: SEO (category and product page optimization for purchase-intent keywords), Google Shopping and Meta Shopping Ads (product photo ads with price), Instagram and Pinterest (visual discovery), influencer partnerships and UGC content. Basic SEO is configured during development. Further promotion can be self-managed or added as a separate project.
